Simplified and easy-to-use testing

Rosco Diagnostica acknowledges the increasing need for detection of resistance mechanisms. In order to supply our customers/users with a convenient system for detection, rapid colorimetric and assembled kits with disc diffusion tablets are available. The kits are complete with ready-to-use cartridges of the necessary combined Neo-Sensitabs™ or Diatabs™ and a guide to their use.

1) BETA – LACTAMASES

a) Rapid Colorimetric Kits (15 min-1 hour)

Rosco Diagnostica Rapid colorimetric Kits  have the following advantages compared to competitors:

  • More rapid results
  • No reagent preparation needed
  • Longer shelf-life
  • Stable crystalline imipenem
  • Simple and fast procedure 5 min/test
  • Reduced amounts of lysis buffer or no lysis buffer
  • Lower cost
  • Detect new genes (compared to PCR)

98025 - KPC/MBL inP.aeruginosa/Acinetobacter, version 2

WHY  PHENOTYPIC  METHODS?
Phenotypic methods are useful for detection of beta-lactamases. They are cheap and easy to perform and interpret. Molecular techniques, on the contrary, are expensive, require significant expertise and do not
identify novel and emerging resistance genes or even slightly structurally modified genes.

2) OTHERS

98009 - Urin kit Privat Praksis
98017 - Detection of hVISA, GISA, VRE, Daptomycin resistance
98018 - Detection of COLISTIN resistance in Enterobacteriaceae, P. aeruginosa and Acinetobacter spp.

The kits are complete with ready-to-use cartridges of the necessary combined Neo-Sensitabs™ or Diatabs™ and a guide to their use.
